Bed sheets- formaldehyde-free or organic cotton?

Hi Ladies, lurker here. We just bought a new bed, and are buying a new mattress, both non-organic, I"m sure sprayed with who knows what, and now I am in the market for bed sheets. What do you think is more important- organic cotton bed sheets that have formaldehyde in them, or regular cotton flannel sheets that do not have formaldehyde in them? Sierra Club says that cotton flannel does NOT have formaldehyde, so that's where I got that info. Thoughts?

    I've never heard of organic cotton sheets having formaldehyde... Can you link the source your referencing.. I'm curious about this now!

    I just make sure to buy 100 cotton sheets. I'd like organic ones though... Maybe.
