Anyone else doing IVF?

Hi, I'm pretty new to the board (been lurking recently), and am getting ready to do IVF to TTC #2.  I've noticed a lot of people on this board seem to be doing TI or IUI, but can't recall seeing anyone discussing IVF lately.

I'm planning to start BCPs at the end of October/beginning of November (just waiting on AF right now), and was wondering if anybody else is getting ready to do an IVF cycle around the same time.  It was very helpful to have cycling buddies last time, and I'm not sure what kind of welcome I'd get over on the IF board, having already been successful.

10/10: Married; 5/11: Dx: Blocked Fallopian Tube; 7/11: D&C/Hysteroscopy to remove polyp
IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12
IVF #2: 11/12-12/12: ER: 20R, 20M, 16F, 4 Frosties; 5dt: 3 blasts, DS born 8/9/13

    I'll be your cycle buddy! I have been taking BCP for seven days now. October 26 is my baseline. Hopefully a retrieval in early November. Good luck to you!
    Dx PCOS Three cycle of Clomid- BFN HSG- clear 6/09-Follistim and HCG IUI on 7/7/09 BFN 7/09- Follistim and Ovidrel IUI on 8/11/09 BFP! beta #1-342 beta #2-717 Joey was born on 5/5/10 Trying for #2 since 6/12 6/12- Gonal F and Ovidel IUI on 7/10. BFN 8/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel. IUI on 8/10. BFN 9/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel IUI BFN 10/22 Gonal F, Menopur, Ganirelex 11/4 trigger 11/6 ER 14R 10F 11/11 ET transferred one 4AA embryo beta 11/20! BFP Betas stop multiplying . m/c at 5 weeks moving on to FET if my numbers ever get back to 0!

    ME!!!  This is our second fresh IVF/ICSI our FET ended in a miscarriage/ d & c surgery in July and our first IVF/ICSI gave us our twins.  I am a little ahead of you cycle wise.  I started bcp 10/07 will start lupron 10/20, baseline 11/02 and stim start 11/03.  Good luck with your upcoming IVF!  I am terrified to do this all over again. 
    H: 34 dx Azoospermia due to CBAVD from CF

    Glad to have a couple ladies to cycle with. Looks like you'll both be leading the way for me. I probably won't get to ER until at least the end of November.

    efhoping2010: I'm amazed you were ready to go for #3 so soon with twins (meant as a compliment)! I was debating trying so quickly with just 1 LO, (I don't have much of a choice, given I'll be turning 40 in March), I can't imagine trying so soon with 2.

    I agree with you about being terrified to do this again. I'm trying to stay both optimistic and realistic given my age. FX crossed that all 3 of us are successful in the coming weeks!

    Just noticed the date your LO was born, I am so jealous.  We had a CS scheduled for 6/6/12, but my water broke, so she came early.  I love have numbers that kind of flow/are easy to remember.  We got married on 10/10/10!

    Me!  I am starting BCP around Oct 20th and am figuring ER around Thanksgiving.  It will be great to have other people to go through this with.
    11/02/10- DS Born
    6/2011- DH started chemo for testicular cancer
    9/2011- Remission!!!!
    6/2012- IUI #1 natural with HCG shot- banked sperm (BFN)
    7/2012- IUI #2 natural with HCG shot- banked sperm (BFN)
    -changed RE-
    11/13/12- IVF #1 Bravella 225/Menopur 150/Ganarelix, triggered with Lupron. 11/27- 8R/2M + 2 mature next day/ 4 fertilized/ 2 grade III with 20% fragmentation transferred back on day 3. No frosties. BFN. Boo :(.
    Plan: New semen analysis in January and #2 IVF hopefully with fresh sample in March.

    I started Lupron last Friday for our very first IVF cycle and waiting for AF for monitoring appointment/starting stims. Getting very excited. Good luck everyone. It's nice to know there are other IVFers cycling around the same time here on 2IF.
