  It is overwhelming, I remember that!
  

  I have this one for DD. I really like it - it comes with scrapbooking type stuff to personalize pages like frames and stickers and does 5  (or 3?) years of life. And I am getting this one for # 2. It has a pregnancy journal called The Belly Book that goes with it.

  I got mine from Vera Bradley, I knew that it would be hard to keep up with it and I liked how simple it was.

  I had a lot of trouble too...we ended up with one for DS that I loved. The style of it, plus the info sections it had were comprehensive without being full of stuff I wasn't interested in (I got it at BRU). I just ordered the pink version for our little girl due this week (that's how much I liked it!)

  I spent a semi-ridiculous amount of money on one from Etsy, but I loved the modern design because it wasn't cheesy, and it is expandable.
