So DS2 is just over a week old and loves to be swaddled. We are BF'ing and have chosen to let him sleep in a RnP by our bed for the first few weeks until he's sleeping longer at night. I love the Halo Newborn Swaddle Sacks, but they seem unsafe to use in a RnP because you can't strap baby in.
My sister recommended the Swaddle Me because her's had a hole in the back for straps. I bought two yesterday, and one had a hole and the other didn't!?!?! So what's the deal? It doesn't say anywhere on the package whether it has a hole or not. I just had to open it up to see. Anybody know if maybe they are phasing out or phasing in the holes? Should I be stocking up?
Any other brand of swaddles you recommend that work with straps on RnP/bouncy seats?
Re: Swaddle Me or other Swaddles With Hole for Straps?
Is it possible to use the RNP strap without the piece that comes between their legs? We used the lap strap on the swing over my daughter and her miracle blanket every night for months.

this for us too

I guess I never thought about doing this. I'll try it tonight to see if I think it'll work. Thanks for the suggestion!
I'm scared to not strap him in at all. He's a really strong little guy for his age. I'm afraid he'll flip himself over an suffocate.
