Cost of HSG at Open Imaging Center

RE is sending me for an HSG and I will be paying OOP, of course my insurance doesn't cover one cent of it. How much did it cost you and where did you have it done (hospital, dr office, imaging center, etc.). I am in Palm Beach County, Florida.

    I had mine done at RE's office. My insurance did not cover it if it was for "infertility" but it did cover it when the code was for something like Fallopian scarring or cysts I can't remember the exact terminology. I had an emergency csec w DS so my RE thought I could have scarring from that. Anyway I think if it had been oop it would have been around 10001300.

    My insurance also doesn't cover if it is billed as infertility. I just had one on Monday, and they gave me some codes to run thru my insurance. It is being bilked as diagnostic procedure, therefore now it's covered :)

    I just had mine done last week, at the RE office.  It was $1100 but insurance covered 50%.
