Me, it was my boss. I wanted him to know that I'd have appointments and such, and I figured he'd be pretty safe about gossiping with others LOL.

Oh wait, that's not true. I actually told my other BMB before I even told DH!

man! I told my counselor. I had to let her know why I was SO crazy emotional and that it was normal.

We told my parents and Brother and SIL two weeks after that. We're telling MIL and DH's grandfather tonight - not looking forward to it. the first time we told her I was pregnant she said "oh great, another grandkid to buy for" *rollseyes*

Believe it or not since my DH was at work I called a close friend that I trust right after I got my BFP. I wanted to come up with something creative for him. I told him that night when he got home from work.

I told my SIL and brother immediately! They were so supportive during our TTC journey, so I wanted them to know right away. We still haven't made the big announcement to everyone, I'm hoping to make it to 2nd Trimester first.

My best friend. She and her family were coming to visit two days after I found out so I had to explain why I wasn't drinking. I actually ended up telling her it was twins before I told MH. He was at work and is hard to get a hold of, and I had to tell *someone* so I texted her the ultrasound picture from the parking lot of my OBs office and she called and freaked out with me.

LOL...I had wanted to do something fun for my DH but couldn't believe it was actually a line there! I was still sitting on the potty when I called him in to the bathroom.

Afterwards I took a pic and sent it to my mom and chatted with her for a bit who explained she had JUST told her sister if we didn't get pregnant soon she was going to come over and sit in on a session ...lol... clearly we need mothers help.

My mom. She had recently met my nephew, whom my sister gave up for adoption 18 years ago. This will be the next grandchild and she'd been itching for one. It was a really awesome moment.

My boyfriend was with me when I took the test so he was the first to know. I had planned to tell my mom in person when I went home to visit a week later but I was so impatient that I ended up calling and sharing the news. She was so excited to be a grandma!

I know, right? DS was number 7 grandkid....we also have #9 and this pregnancy makes #11. The ironic thing is that she says they are her life and that's all she really cares about. blech.

We told my parents first. We found out right after my dad's birthday. We wrapped a "I love grandpa" and a "I love grandma" bib and gave to my dad as a "late birthday present". They were super excited! This will be their first grandchild, and I was so excited to tell them. We haven't really told anyone else yet.
