Blood results

For those of you that asked - or was it only one person? :) 

I got my blood test results this morning - the blood was taken on 12DPO

HCG - 16

Progesterone - 19.5

Of course I googled it, and am now thoroughly confused.

 

I go back for a second blood test on Saturday morning. 

 

IUI #1 - 10 April 2012 unmonitored and unmedicated with RE 
IUI #2 - 05 May 2012 unmonitored and unmedicated with RE 
IUI #3 - 05 July 2012 unmonitored and unmedicated with RE 
IUI #4 - 30 August 2012 medicated and monitoredLetrozole and Ovidrel Trigger 
IUI #5 - 27 September 2012 Letrozole 
BFP! 9 October 2012 Betas:- 12DPO 16; 16DPO 96; 18DPO 315

Baby Alarico born on 28 June 2013!!

    Good luck!

    Remember that 12DPO is REALLY early, and even hours make a difference with everything at this stage.  So try not to be confused or stress about numbers.  (Easy for me to say)

    Ultrasound at 6w4d shows a single, fluttering heartbeat.  Say hello to Sticky Ricki!

    I second that 12dpo is really early.  My RE always said the starting beta number doesn't matter.  All that matters is it doubles and continues to double to a certain point. 

    My betas are still in my signature I think and I think they started on 15dpo so based on my doubling they would have been around where you are at this point.

    12dpo is really early. Anything over 5 is positive. It should double within 48 to 72 hours. You can't really tell anything without the 2nd beta. Good luck!

    No blood test experience, but I wanted to say good luck with the next blood test and I hope those lines keep getting darker!
    Same sex couple TTC with donor sperm.  I am 35 and carrying.  Endometriosis and DOR.
    AMH 0.5, AFC 5-8, FSH 7ish

    IVF #1 - antagonist.  Empty follicle syndrome.  1 retrieved, 0 fertilized.
    IVF #2 - antagonist.  Ovulated early.  3 retrieved, 2 fertilized, 0 blasts

    Good luck!  I agree with everyone else that it's really early.  Hopefully the numbers will double for your 2nd test.
