Anyone have these toys? Trying to figure out if they are worth the money to get wooden ones or if I should get plastic. DS is turning 6 and DD is turning 2.
Jen - Mom to two December 12 babies
Nathaniel 12/12/06 and Addison 12/12/08
DS's dominoes aren't wooden put I don't think they're plastic either. They're a good quality material and they came in a nice case. My parents bought them for him and have them at their house, and one of the last times he was over there he played with them for two hours.
I think for the marble run I would do plastic - mainly because it would be easier for the kids to take them apart and build tracks. Also, friends of ours have this awesome set where part of it is magnetic and goes on the refrigerator - it's pretty cool, but they have a lot of floor space in their kitchen and the refrigerator isn't near any counters or appliances, so that makes it a good place for the kids to play with it (well, except when their mom needs something out of the fridge.)
