I see so many little baby girl's with these headbands and bows and little knit hats that look SO CUTE to me...
But I came across a post recently - asking where to get headbands - and everyone was BASHING them - saying how trashy and stupid and ugly they were and not to get them...
What does everyone think about the baby girl head "stuff" ?? Specifically for newborns or younger babies...

Bows, I love. Hats, I love. Those awful headbands with the flowers that are bigger than the baby's head?....just.no.

Its just preference. Personally, I hate those headband things, but I also hate baby tu-tus. Which is a shame because DD still does not have enough hair for a barrette and I do think the little hair bows are kinda cute.
Because she was practically bald, she wore newborn caps or knit hats a lot when it was cold/cool out. I had one really cute winter one with long "braids", kind of a snowboarder style, that she was adorable in all winter.
I like the headbands, hats and barrets. I don't like bows but that's my personal taste. I prefer the flower headbands to be small and modest but the big ones look cute sometimes. L has a ton of hair and I do barrets and pebbles Flinstone hair on her. Headbands look weird on her for some reason.
Etsy has a ton of cute ones for all styles/occasions.
We had a headband on DD a lot when she was a NB and younger infant. Now, not so much because she can tear it right off her head as soon as we put it on. I like the smaller flowers and bows versus the giant ones that are as big as the baby's face. Here's DD at 3 months with my favorite one. :-)

Hats are a must for us-they protect from sunburn in the summer and cold in the winter, and we spend a lot of time outside.
Headbands? Not my style at all, but hey, to each their own.
Very cute!
