So we came in at about 9:00 for our induction. They started the Cytotek and it didn't get everything started like it did with the first one. They started my pitocin at about 4:00 am that morning so the contractions got a little harder but not terrible. Then she came in and broke my water. Now, the last time my nurse broke my water after I got the epidural, so I was apparently not prepared for those contractions! First of all hats off to all you woman who birth naturally, you are a much stronger woman than I! Those started and they said I didn't have to wait for the epi so I told her to come on in! Just for the record, I know some women are scared of the epi and everything, that stupid IV they put in my arm was worse than getting the epi put in honest to God. Well they came in to check me and said when they broke my water there was a little poop in there and to top it off she was breach and we needed to do an emergency c section. I was scared. I almost cried but kept it together. My first one was born vaginal. It was super quick, she was our in about a minute or so after they started and the whole process was about 20 minutes. It was really intense in there tho! That's the best way to describe it. A lot of pressure and people in there and it was just intense. Once they got her out and held her overso I could see her I immediately started crying. She was so perfect :. I almost cry now thinking about it. I really didn't want/expect ac section. I wanted to share my story because a few thing happened that I was afraid of so maybe this will help calm others a little. She also had the cord wrapped around her neck twice. She was literally head down up until my last appointment, so, lesson learned anything can happen! She is perfectly healthy now and doing great. Recovering from the c section is harder than I thought it would be, but it surely could have been worse
