Anyone up for a random post? Since it's been quite slow... Post anything you want! Be an AW, post a funny story, vent, post something you're thankful for, post a pic of LO, UO, confession, whatever! I'll post mine below.
I finally got around to cleaning out some of DD drawers (in her dresser, not her diapers, haha!) and figuring out what to toss, give away, and save. So far the biggest pile is the give away pile. We plan to have more kids, but we got a lot of stuff that DD didn't get around to wearing (for various reasons) and I really didn't feel like saving some of it. For example, I pulled out several onesies that said "What Happens At Grandma's, Stays At Grandmas!!!" I'm just not a fan of those and I don't think I'll change my mind before the next kid. And I don't know why we'd need 5 of them anyway.
Another random: We bought 2 Sili Squeezes and I love them! I saw them on Babysteals, so I decided to try them out, as I was curious before. I think it was a good buy. DD loves those pouches, but she downs them in less than a minute, and they're over $1 a piece, so I think this will help us save some money. And allow her to eat yogurt by herself!
A girl I went to high school with posted this on facebook today: "I'm still waiting for my monthly friend... I might be expecting someone special??!!" i haven't talked to the girl since we graduated 10 yrs ago, but I couldn't help it, I had to comment and say TMI.
I'm so excited for Halloween! My mom is making DD a Little Bo Peep costume!!
The other night we skyped with my parents on our tv. DD insisted on standing on the mantel while we talked to them, and she kept putting her hands on the screen and trying to drag it to the other grandparent! Guess she's gotten used to using my iPad to look at photos and thinks everything works that way now! Lol
Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta. BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.
Sometimes I think I over organize. I need to chill on making sure everything in baskets is perfectly coordinated in line with the theme.
I totally understand have a rhyme a reason but wood blocks are blocks, plastic blocks are blocks and hotwheels are mini, farm machinery toys are mini...they could end up in the same damn basket and still be functional..lol.
I drive my own self crazy.
Confession to this random: My house is organized to the extreme and people comment on how easy it is to find stuff all the time. However, it's not all that clean in terms of sticky, dust, needs a vaccuum, cobwebs in the corner.
DH has found a studio to rent outside of our home,so now I get to set up the learning/art room I've been dreaming of for the girls. I just got DD1 an easel this week and she loves it. I'm beyond excited for this room and glad it will be separate from their play room and bedrooms. I'm also so excited to pull out my preschool curriculum.

We would make such a great team! I actually rather like to clean, but the lack of organization is what slows me down.
I'm going out tonight with a friend for dinner and drinks. I'm so excited!
I never get out. I don't feel the least bit guilty. I saved left overs from last nights dinner for DS. There isn't enough for DH, he will have to make something himself. And I have no guilt about that either.
I never get out either! I think I've been out twice without DH or LO. One was a wedding shower. Well, until last week or so, I started taking an aerobics class and I am really enjoying it. We live in a tiny town, so I never thought I'd get to do something like that, but a woman in our church decided to start teaching a class for free. I'm realizing how good it is to have that time, and probably good for DH too. On Tuesday, he watches her and on Thursday, he gets alone time because I'll put her to bed before I go.

I don't like either - but if you guys want to come over and clean/organize my house I'd be happy to cook for you!
