two questions...

I had my c-section September 20th.  First question is....about when did you finalllllllllly stop bleeding?! I have had to wear a pad since I had my little Connor...not that I mind, it's just I have always hated to wear pads and I am tired of wearing them and almost being 3 weeks out haha.  It's not a lot now, but it's enough obviously for a pad. 

 

Question two, on the left side of my incision I am iffy....it looks sort of "open" and it leaks sort of rust-colored discharge.  Nowhere else on the incision does it leak.  It has also had some pain return around that area, whereas everywhere else is practically pain free.  That's pretty much my only two symptoms.... what do you think? normal, or infection possibly?

    I think it was around 8 weeks. I remember thinking that the length of bleeding made up for all those periods I missed while I was pg.

    I'd watch the incision for signs of redness. Is it hot to the touch?

    I bled for 6w with my vaginal birth and my c/s.  Can't comment on the 2nd part.

    I bled for a little over 6 weeks after my c-section, but I think that everyone is different.  I wouldn't worry though because you are still so early.  I didn't have any oozing from my incision, but know several people who did and it was completely normal, so I wouldn't worry too much.  If you are still concerned about it though you should call your doctor's office about it.

    I bled for 6 weeks after my c-section. It got a little bit heavier if I over did it on certain days. I didn't ooze at all from my incision. I don't think it would hurt to put a call into your doctor. Make sure to watch for signs of an infection

    I bled for about 7 weeks after my c-sections.  As far as the discharge, I had an infection with my first c-section and the discharge was white and hot to the touch.  They ended up opening a small part at the corner to take a swab to test for infection.

    I bled for a week unless I over did it. Not sure about the second question.

    I'm 5 weeks pp and bleed off and on, especially if I over did it. My incision never oozed or had discharge. I would call your ob just to make sure all is good there.

    Thank you ladies!! I went to the OB Mon and he said no infection....yay!!!!!:)
