1. We felt the first external kicks last night during the Texan's game. M was pretty heated and speaking loudly at the TV and Sam decided he wanted in on the action. She got to feel too so she was pretty stoked.
2. A new quarter at work always make me feel slightly lazy for the first couple of weeks as all of our matrix are measured quarterly.
3. I love when you have a conversation with someone, they tell you they will take care of y once you do x. You immediately do x, let them know it's done and y never happens. Then an email comes out about y and the person who was supposed to do y emails you asking where we stand on it...
4. I'm loving this weather.
5. I got apple cider for the keurig so I am excited!
6. I need new pj's that don't strangle my belly as M is tired of sharing hers
7. I have started watching the series Supernatural on Netflix. I am on the fence on whether I will continue.
8. My fur babies have been awesome snugglers lately. They typically won't lay still so this has been nice.
9. I am enjoying taking it easy so far! I think nesting has officially set it as I am not allowed to do much. Yesterday evening I washed all the clothes that have been donated to us and put them away as well as organized the boys closet. Next is the box of bottles that were donated.
10. On October 17th we hit double digit days left. I had a minor freak out as in less than one week we will have 99 days left until the boy's eviction notice is served. M has also started reading to them at night and all she talks about is getting them safely here so she can have her boys home. When we need to make a decision about things she will even say things like "Boys what do you think" as she holds my belly.

Jacob and Samuel born 1/29/13 at 36 weeks.
1. I think I need a weekend from my weekend. Even though Sunday was a total lazy day in terms of not leaving the house, I did my fair share of referring arguments, cleaning up Play-doh, helping with homework, building forts, baking cookies, decluttering, doing 5 loads of laundry, building Lego sets...did I mention referring arguments?
2. I have been at work for 90m and cranked out a good deal of work in those 90m. Go me.
3. Carter made me a bracelet last week at school. It is a piece of green string with 3 beads (2 of his favorite colors and 1 of mine.) I have been wearing it since. I love it and I love that he is so proud and happy that I am wearing it.
4. You can't know how thrilled I am to find out that West Wing is on Amazon Prime. Whooo Hooo.
5. L's parents are coming next month and I have no idea where they are going to sleep. Historically, they slept in the kids rooms when they were still in toddler beds (and we'd carry their beds to our room and they would sleep there.) But now the kids are in bunk beds (not really 70y old suitable.) Hmmm.
6. We also need to figure out what to do with the cat(s) and get the hardwood floors replaced/redone. Wonder if we can manage to do that before they come since it really involves making some tough decisions about the cats.
7. Waking up in the morning is so much more difficult when it is pitch black. This morning I felt like I had been drugged.
8. One of the people that was supposed to go to happy hour with me tomorrow night has already backed out. Boo. Scheduling happy hour with a bunch of people who have kids is next to impossible.
9. On Sunday, I must have been overly tired. I looked at the calender on my phone (that shows both my work calender and a joint Google calender that L and I share. On Wednesday of next week, it said, "Get Pod." I had no idea what it meant and had myself worked into a frenzy that L was getting a Pod moving thing and moving out. After 10m, I realized it was an autocorrect and it was supposed to say, "Get PPD (the TB test I am required to get for work.) Good grief.
10. I brought my lunch today and am excited to eat it.
2. I'm really nervous about the girls placement hearing in December, I just don't trust the ASW to portray us correctly to the judge.
3. If we adopt the girls, we decided on a new name for Owl, the ASW ruined the original name for us.
4. Apples birthday is going to be Sesame Street themed, she loves Elmo. We are serving pizza- Elmos favorite food, goldfish- for Dorothy, earthworm pudding- for Slimey, rubber ducky punch- for Ernie, and fruit among other things.
5. This week is supposed to be cloudy and possibly a little rainy, I hope it sticks.
6. I smashed my thumb yesterday, it swelled up right away but was back to normal by the time I went to bed, I woke up this morning and the pad of my thumb is swollen, tight, and sometimes tingly.
7. I found an open, accepting, and affirming church this weekend, what a breath of fresh air!
8. Apple is completely off the bottle! She also gave up waking for a middle of the night bottle!
9. Our horse will be here this weekend, this past weekend didn't work out.
10. Owl called me Mama yesterday.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
2. We are 14 weeks pregnant today! So excited but also feeling a little stressed because we are going to have to do a private adoption for our little one because he/she is not genetically related to either MH or I. It just adds some more things to worry about.
3. I really hope we can use our DHS home study and not have to go through the whole thing again for the adoption.
4. We have had a 10 month old little boy for 3 weeks and we are both absolutely loving it! He is such a sweet little boy.
5. The girls are doing okay. Biggest challenge right now is lying. They lie about everything. I swear they would lie about the color of the sky if they thought they could get away with it.
6. I told my parents, aunt and grandma about our little one on the way. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at the responses I got. And my mom didn't even send any follow up hate email. In fact she actually sent me an email saying that she was sorry she wasn't there for me during my miscarriages. Progress?
7. I got a promotion at work! And a MUCH bigger raise than I expected. It was an awesome surprise!
8. We are getting some new windows in our home. I wish we were replacing all of them, but for right now we're ecstatic that our bedroom and the kids' room will have new windows!

10. We went pumpkin picking over te weekend, I so wish I could post a few photos, baby R was so excited about the pumpkins!

1) How do you know as a parent you are doing the right thing even when it makes you cry and question yourself?
2) I never in a million years thought it would come to this 6 years ago.
3) I have a meeting with someone tonight I have not really spoken to in 2 years except for the occasional chat...not really sure what I am seeking other than confirmation I am doing right by Ky.
4) Attorney on Monday...ugh.
5) I looked up flights to NE today for my vacation in April and they are only 650 total for me AND Ky...I NEED to book ASAP but due to #4 funds are not in the picture....sigh.
6) At least I have Chicago in ten days!
7) I really want to sell my car and get something else but I know I will never get what I still owe. I just know I need a lesser car payment...
8) The phone system is down at work and it is making life difficult.
9) I have a raging headache.

1) Ugg family my parents were in town and it was a good visit but because of issues with M family I know she looks for things to pull apart ( tit for tat) I told her about a convo i had with my mom and uncle and then it all blew up . MOM and Uncle think M and I are very disorganized and messy all true at times I am sure some of you saw her fb post ... so it resulted in a few e mails .. and now us arguing.
2) with #2 I realize who ever S n L marry it will surley suck for them as they will have 2 Mother in laws... HAHAH poor GUY/GAL.... but i know i will certainly not be like my own MIL and/or my own MOM...
3) things are tight this month seems like our relationship tiffs are always bout Money and Family ... hate that
4) consigning some of the girls stuff I am a bit sad about it
5) no news from heart DR. good sign i think but appointment is tomorrow and I am freaking out still feel like *** someday just hope there are answers. what bothers me is that M never seems to ask me how i am with it ..
6)my bff from kinder just told us she is expecting #2 aww i am so jealous and happy for her she is 20 weeks had issue with 1st pregnancy so they waited. Her and M were just a few weeks apart SO EXCITING

1. Working from home today. Before starting work I swept/washed the kitchen floor and swept/straightened the front porch.
2. However apparently my productivity ended at 9am.
Opps. I'm sure it doesn't help that I know I have a huge project coming to me this afternoon.
3. 2brides, not to laugh at your pain, but #9 cracked me up. Totally something I would do!
4. Just found out that a project that was supposed to get to me at noon today now won't get to me until 3. I really hope they don't still expect it done by 5. (Ugh, this screws up everyone's timelines now.)
5. Making parmesan breaded turkey breasts tonight. They have lemon zest in the breading and they are so yummy!
6. It is freakin cold in our house right now. Might be time to actually turn on the heat.
7. Our anniversary is this weekend. I planned our night out, I got him a card, but I totally spaced on getting him a gift. Now I have no freakin clue. Crap.
8. I leave for Vegas next Friday. It will be Trav's first time doing the solo parenting thing for a full overnight... and he's doing 2-nights in a row! Hope it goes well!
9. I'm so excited for Vegas, but it will only be the second time I'm away from Gwen overnight, and the first time I'm away for more then one night. It will be a great time, but I'm going to miss her!
10. Okay, time to get productive.

Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
1. I haven't done one of these forever.
2. Today should not be the day I finally choose to do one but I need a bit of a mental break from work.
3. Jelly Bean is getting so damn big.
4. I just finished lunch but I'm sitting here wondering what I should get for dinner before my class tonight.
5. Sometimes expectations are simply set too high.
6. I'm enjoying The Voice this season.
7. At what age would you take a child to a broadway style play? Assuming the theme was child friendly.
8. I still have the protective plastic thingy on my watch face. It's invisible so I figure 'why not protect the watch?' lol!

10. How in the world did I ever use to get 10 of these without thinking about it?
1. This week has been craptastic so far.
2. Yesterday I yelled at my boss. Not one of my prouder moments. He REALLY deserved it, and he admitted my emotion was warranted, but still.
3. I had a pity party in my car after the incident above. I just have a hard time that with how hard S and I both work, and how many hours we put in, that our life is still such a struggle all the time. I'm not saying that we are suffering, but the exhaustion takes a toll.
4. I love the daycare that we visited last week. Now we need to figure out how to pay for it. Above and beyond that, if we can afford it, I'm not convinced we'll be able to enroll there as I don't know that we can pick the baby up by their closing time every day.
5. I'm really REALLY sick of my hour long commute each way. See above.
6. S and I need a night to ourselves without all of the things we need to get done hanging over our heads.
7. I think my in-laws are leaving on Thursday. I'm so grateful for the work they've done on the house, and it has been good to be able to spend the time together, but I'm also really looking forward to having things back to just our little family for a while. Unfortunately, there are a lot of things that will be left undone on the house and we'll have to figure out how to deal with all of that too.
8. I have to go to AZ for work Thursday evening through Friday evening. Booo to long plane rides for short trips, but yay to some warm weather. It's been REALLY cold here lately.
9. I'm going to spend 9 and 10 internally brainstorming all the things I'm grateful for so I can get out of this funk ...

2. We made chicken, broccoli and pasta Alfredo for lunch today. It was so, so tasty!
3. After eating said lunch, I'm now in a food coma. J is taking a nap but I need to get ready for work shortly. Boo.
4. We're trying to find a pumpkin patch to go to around here. Hoping to go next week and get pumpkins and take them to J's parent so we can carve them. It should be a super fun, fall day!
5. We really need to do laundry. I hate laundry.
6. I'm getting a fade in pattern with my OPKs this month. I estimate a positive in the next two or three days. It's almost go time!
7. This is also my first month temping. It's not going as smoothly as I hoped it would and my temps are everywhere.
8. My feet are freezing. I need to get a new pair of slippers!

1. We had a lovely party this weekend and now get to enjoy having our house nice and clean and organized.
2. Makes me want to work to keep it this way.
3. I go in for orientation at my new part-time job tomorrow.
4. My client load and upcoming teaching schedule feels good too.
5. Those in addition to a weekly training series I'm in are going to lead to a busy Oct/early November.
6. That's good because it will keep me from obsessing too much about ttc.
7. My MIL and her sibling(s) may be coming for Thanksgiving.
8. If #7 interferes with ttc I'll be upset.
9. There are so many things on my to-do list it's crazy!
10. I'm off to a client interview and a client meeting.
1. I almost posted first thing this morning around 5:30am my time....but I was sleepy and K had fallen asleep nursing so we both went back to bed. Now it's 10:40pm - ooops.
2. We went to the library today and I got a library card. It's been a while since I've had one of those, I took out 4 books for K and one for me.
3. I thought I'd ended up with a Sci-Fi/Fantasy book but I think its romance. The first 3 pages are all romantical or sexual in nature....hmmm
4. Somehow reading romance novels never really did it for me... Oh well back to the library we go.
5. Tomorrow I go and collect my effects (the few I left at my job over 5 months ago), and return the laptop and badge... My best work friend is taking me out to lunch. I will miss her, but other than that I am glad to turn the page on this chapter of my life.
6. EV and I have been working on the website for my (our) new business and a few projects for the business. She's a wiz at photoshop I'm so impressed. I'm pretty proud of the website too - its becoming all so real.
7. This business is going to require me to really put myself out there - YIKES, I am terrified about selling myself and my services.... I can't even wrap my head around it yet. I'm sure it will come.
8. My mom wants us to come out to AZ for Christmas. I want to, but EV is digging her heels in. I love the holidays, but she never wants to officially participate (tree, decorations, gifts). Then the night before Christmas she gets all pouty and sad and I'm running around scrambling to put a last minute holiday celebration together. Needless to say we started vacationing over the holidays. Anyway I want a big holiday with the baby... but I'm not sure how to get her on board.
9. I am afraid about money.. but somehow in denial too, like buying K a $30 toy from Amazon today... and spending way too much on groceries.... Sigh....
10. I just ate an apple with a rotten core - blech. I spit it out.
