I guessed wrong-I guessed boy, and its a girl! The chinese gender chart said girl for me though. I am carrying low.

I guessed right. I went with the "where are you carrying" OWT, because my grandma had 10 kids and swore by it. Maybe it's a family thing. haha

I also did the "ring on a necklace above my wrist (and stomach)" thing, and that was right, too.

Although H swears that he willed the baby to be a boy. The day we found out I'm pregnant, he leaned over to my stomach and said, "You have a penis!"

No wives tales... My husband was high as a kite when we got out BFP. (He had just had back surgery.). He drunkenly announced its a girl, and maintained that until a week before our a/s, when he tried to change his mind. Too late hubby! You're outnumbered in this house!

I had a hard time picturing us with a boy because we're so used to being the parents of a girl. I ran through a list of OWTs and it was about 14 pointing to GIRL & 6 to BOY. (You can read my blog post w/ them all here: https://www.nannersp.com/2012/08/team-blue-or-team-pink.html)

I knew from the beginning that it was a boy. I checked a couple for fun like the Chinese predictor thing. But they all said girl. I guess mother knows best?

I have a feeling it was another boy. The morning sickness exactly the same-slowed around 9 and gone by 10. Just felt the same and figured it was probably the same sex. Although, I kind of wanted a girl at first I just couldn't picture it. I guess because I'm going to be a mommy of boys!

I was sure we were having a boy.. my acupuncturist said boy, the Chinese chart said boy..and I just felt boy! Then one night I had a dream it was a girl.. I did all the OWT's the next day and they ALL pointed to girl.. We had our a/s the next week..and sure thing! Shes a girl!

My first instinct was girl, but then all of my healthy baby dreams involved a boy so I questioned it. I have been carrying low, Chinese gender predictor said boy and ring over belly test said boy. I am having a girl.

I just had a gender reveal baby shower, and before the reveal we did the OWT game... it was 10 to boy, 9 to girl. Chinese chart predicted boy. That being said, the big ones were all confusing... baby has had a high heart rate since the beginning, which usually means girl. But I had no morning sickness, and my linea nigra goes all the way from sternum to pelvic bone, which are both boy signs. I think it's all silly! But I had 4 gender dreams, first was a boy, then 2 girl dreams, and right before the shower my dreams said boy!

All the old wives tales were wrong to where the baby sits, foods I craved, the heart rate, even the shape of my baby bump. Now the chinese gender predictor was correct they said a girl & sure enough that's what Im having. I had it in my mind I was having a boy though.

DH and I both thought girl and were wrong. This pregnancy was the same as my first except for Im carrying out and high and last one I was carrying low and wide.

I initially thought boy. so did DH & pretty much everyone in my family. But really, deep down I think I knew it was a girl. The owt for heart rate was correct as was Chinese gender. I'm carrying high, but all out front. Closer to my a/s DH changed his predicition to girl, based on the heart rate trend. The night before my a/s I had a very vivid dream where the tech told me "it's a girl". Sure enough, she's all girl.

I guessed incorrectly - I thought I was having a girl, but we're having a boy. I was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum which is more common with girl pregnancies. Heart rate was always 155-160 BPM.

Yes and yes. My mom and I did the needle/ring and thread thing over my bump before we found at the gender and it said boy...4 times. Then when I had my ultrasound it said boy

I was absolutely positive based on my intuition that I was having a girl. Most of all the OWT were true as well, although I didn't have really bad morning sickness. I was nauseous all the time during 1st tri, but I only ever got sick twice. We are in fact having a girl.

I guessed correctly based on a hunch. Pedi guessed based on how I was carrying and was right. None of the OWT proved true.

The OWT about how you carry your bump turned out true for me. A couple co-workers would say, "From your shape I'm guessing it'll be a boy." They were right. Even though I heard that's a complete OWT. I guess they had a 50/50 chance.

Nope! I thought for sure I was having a girl, but we're having a boy! The heart beat was low. We started at 168 and at our second A/S (baby didnt cooperate the first time) the heart beat was 141. I think thats an old wives tale, 160 and up is girl, below is a boy? Not sure I could be backwards on that

Almost all of the OWT and the chinese gender prediction were wrong. The only correct OWT was the ring over the belly. I dreamnt once it was a boy and once it was girl. Everyone told me it was a girl based on how I was carrying. My husband said he felt boy from day one and he was right. So, boy it is.

I sort of thought girl pretty early on. The heart rate OWT was accurate, and this PG just "felt different" from my son. I wasn't 100% convinced, but had a good feeling. Most of my friends and coworkers were saying girl too ... and we're having a girl!

For me, the OWTs were split dead even. The Chinese Gender chart said girl. I kept calling baby a boy, but my irrational fear of girls caused a sneaking girl suspicion (so I honestly couldn't have told you what I thought it was). It's a boy. Smile

Whenever I would concentrate on the baby I just felt like it was a girl/female energy. My dreams were always gender neutral (the baby) up until the night before the A/S when I dreamt they told me it was a girl. For what it's worth, I am carrying high.

I have not had even one baby dream since becoming pregnant, but H hada dream a few nights before the a/s that we were in the room having the scan done and they told us it was a boy. And it ended up being true!

I know it is totally a fluke but every one of the "old wives tales" were true for me. We are having a boy and I did not have 1 minute of morning sickness, am carrying quite low and his heartrate has consistently been around 140 every time it was checked.

I guessed correctly we always new it was a boy the chinese calender said girl and the ring test said boy we even had dreams of having a little girl and we still just new it was a boy
