Freaking out a bit Updated

I went to the bathroom this morning and when I wiped there was some brown blood but no cramping. I'm pretty much just freaking out. I'm in the doctors office right now waiting. Any positive thoughts or prayers would be great.

*Update* They checked his heartbeat and did an ultrasound. He looks great but I do have a low lying placenta which they think caused the spotting. Since I am RH- they went ahead and gave me the Rhogam shot. They sent me home to get some rest. Thank you all for the positives thoughts and prayers.

I have heard that brown blood is nothing to be overly concerned about but I can understand wanting peace of mind.

Yep, brown spotting is usually nbd. Probably left over from sexy time or something. But it'll be good to hear it from your Dr. Take care mama!

As PP's said, chances are that bit of brown blood is NBD... but having gone through some bleeding myself this pregnancy, I completely understand your worries & am glad you are getting it checked out just to be safe. Sending some T&P's your way Peach! *Hugs*

a tiny bit of blood at this point means nothing. If something were wrong, you'd go into labor. I'm sure you're fine.

I'm sure everything is fine but if it were me I'd for sure call my doctor too or go to L&D and get checked out. I've had bleeding with both pregnancies and its never fun at all.

I had the same this happen to me this weekend. I went to my Dr yesterday and she said it could be due to sex. She did put us on sex rest for a week though. It was just a little brown blood.
