Pat on back....

I'm giving myself a pat on the back. Why you may ask? Yesterday I decided that even though Gator and I are both sick we need to get out and walk at least three miles a day. Yesterday it was no biggie. Today I dreaded it and a mile in I felt a blister on my heel. I was on my way back to the house but thought I needed to force myself. So at .81 miles, the shoes came off and I have been walking in circles in a parking lot. I am now 3.02 miles in....and slowly walking home. I would have kept going but Gator is yelling and dogs are starting to bark. Haha. My socks are now black......oops

  • Oh and for anyone looking for a fun app, I just downloaded MapMyWalk app and I live it! It uses GPS to map you walk, calories burned, if there is an incline, your time and pace, your distance, calories burned and draws you walk on a map so you can see where you went. I used to only walk areas where I knew the distance, like at the high school track. Now I can walk anywhere and see my progress and then save it in my workouts. I can also track my food like on myfitnesspal. And friends can be added so you can track each others progress and everything. It made it really nice when I went to the local collage and walked all over until I hit the 3 mile mark. Then tonight I started in a subdivision and then did my last two miles walking around in the parking lot.
