Home from L&D I was definitely in early labor, contractions were two minutes apart. Fortunately it wasn't enough to cause dilation so they sent me home to get lots of rest and drink lots of fluid. Back labor sucks! I'm still contracting at home but if they get harder within a few hours I'm to call my on call doctor again. Cross your fingers for three more weeks! I cried all the way to the hospital, all I kept thinking was how I'm not 40 weeks yet! Selfish, I know, but I would like her to cook a little longer. I'm going to take a warm bath and lay with a heating pad per doctor orders. Sounds like a nice night to me if only I wasn't so uncomfortable and in pain. Gosh, I'm SUCH a baby.

    you are not a baby... I can imagine going into labor is entering into the craziness of an emotional roller coaster.

    You are not a baby at all! Labor, whatever stage you are in is difficult. Go home and relax and hopefully your lo will stay put a bit longer.
