Platte Valley Medical Center

Has anyone delivered at Platte Valley Medical Center? It's the closest hospital to Dh and I. Since we got married I had to switch to his insurance plan and did not have an OBGYN. I am currently seeing the doctors at Alcott Women's center at Turnberry which is associated with PVMC. I am jut curious if people liked their OBGYN and delivering at PVMC? We are in reunion and I could drive to rose or university but this is our first baby and I like being close. Just looking for opinions. TIA!!

    Hi Hun guess what?? I love them! Im in Fronterra Village right across the way from Reunion.I had a baby boy who just turned 7 months today and I went there for him and I the whole time and loved it.It's so clean and it's about 6 year's old.I had a really hard time with this pregnancy so I ws there pretty much the whole time.Now we do dr's apt's at Turnberry for him and I as well and I love how it's 2 minutes away! Good choice!

    Thank you! I am so glad to see someone liked it there. I don't really know anyone in this area so getting a recommendation has been really hard. Glad to know you like the pediatric practice at Turnberry too I'll have to keep that in mind. Thanks again!

    I also go to the Alcott Womens center and will be delivering at Platte Valley Medical Center in September.  I love my OBGYN, and mostly see DR Flemming. But everyone that I have met so far has been wonderful and have not had a bad experience yet.  i have been to the hospital a few times as well for a few overnight stays due to pre-term labor contractions and the labor and delivery floor is amazing!  The rooms are very big and roomy with a nice couch for my husband and extra chairs and space, the food is descent as well.   The nurses were great that I delt with.  Good luck!

    Don't know if you have already had your baby...if not, chose this hospital! The labor and delivery nurses are amazing and I also had my OB at Alcott...they are awesome. Dr. H delivered my daughter 2 years ago and Dr. Slusher delivered my son 2 months ago.  Very different experiences, but both were amazing!  Good luck!!!
