Once Upon A Time

Does anyone watch?  What are your thoughts on this season so far?  Who do you think Dr. Whale is?  Who was the guy at the beginning of the season premiere?  What happened to August?  <insert other questions>

I'm really digging this show now.  I was on the fence for most of last season.

    I still like it, but I am not as hooked as I was last season.

    I also loved last season but this season is off to a slow start.  They need to pick it up big time next Sunday or they are toast. 

    Who do you think Dr. Whale is?  no clue on this, it hasn't grabbed me enough to think about it

    Who was the guy at the beginning of the season premiere?  Henry's dad maybe

    What happened to August?  I'm lost on this too.

    DH and I love this show.  Last week was good, this week, was eh.. but I think it will get good again with them going back to the Enchanted Forest with Emma and Snow.  I am interested to know if the evil queen's mom is going to be a new bad guy.

    That is a good idea, the one from Alice in Wonderland right?  I read in a preview in a magazine that they are going to have the Little Mermaid in it this season.  That will be interesting I think.

    I love that show!  I just watched yesterday's episode during my lunch break.  I love trying to figure out who the characters are.  I haven't been able to figure out who Dr. Whale is.

    Maybe I liked it so much last night because there was very little emma, and she annoys me.

    Dr. Whale is kind of fascinating to me because he's basically the only character who was recurring throughout the first season that we still don't know the identity of.  Plus, I think he's hilarious.  His little quip about the nuns last night made me lol.  I like to dork it up over on the Television Without Pity forums and some of the theories over there include Dr. Frankenstein (this seems most likely), Peter Pan, and Robin Hood.

    I think the guy at the beginning of the premier is Bae, and also Henry's father.

    I love this show, but I agree it has started out a lot slower.  I really, really liked the first season, and this second season isn't quite getting me the way the last did.  But, as I said, I really like it, so I'm hanging in there. :)

I think the mom is the character from the original Rumplestiltskin story- the one who's baby he takes (Regina) and then she manages to figure out his name and breaks the curse so she's able to get her baby back. He talked about holding Regina when she was a baby. I agree about the guy in the beginning probably being Bae.

    I thought the same thing about Regina and her Mom in relation to Rumplestiltskin. 

    I have never thought about Bae being Henry's father, but that makes perfect sense!

    ::mind blown::  That is a GOOOOD theory.  

    I also want to know what happened to pinocchio/August.
