I often lurk on this board and thought this would be the place to ask. . . I'm pretty sure this is a silly question- but I"m asking anyway.
I can do a combination of purees and BLW right?? I guess it woudln't really be the traditional BLW that I've read about. I've been enjoying giving baby purees, but would like to offer him real food so he can start to feed himself. He's gotten pretty good at holding banana chunks and scraping bits off with his teeth.

With DD1 we did purees and then introduced smaller pieces of table foods by 8 months. She was completely on table foods by 1 year. I don't know if you can follow the principles of BLW exactly, but you can certainly introduce table foods now.

We did BLW, but grandma did purees. Technically not 'true' BLW, but, who cares? It's not like there are BLW police lol.
Do what works best for your family. I think a lot of people do a combo, it's NBD.
