Hi! I'm just curious....well, really we are wanting to get pregnant again asap, and I know that it is not likely to happen for a while, but I just want to see on average when you other ebf mamas got your cycles back.

Still haven't ovulated, and LO is almost a year old! He nurses a lot still, though...even once or twice during the night. Good luck, and congratulations!

I got my first PP period at 14 months, and I think it was probably related to us night weaning (which we worked on between 13 and 13.5 months). That decision was made mainly because we are eager to begin the TTC process again, I was really needing sleep, and LO seemed ready.

I got my first pp period at 13 months with both LOs. However, DS#2 has continued to nurse which caused my LP to be very short for another year after that.

I got my first PP period just shy of my son's 8 month birthday. At almost 14 months, he nurses once during the day but a ton at night. My cycles still haven't normalized, which is frustrating as we are also trying to conceive. GL to you!

I was EBFing on demand, including overnight (bedsharing), and I got mine back 5 1/2 months postpartum.

With DD1, I got my first PP period when she was 11 months.

With DD2, I'm still waiting...and hoping that will be the case for many more months!

With Callum I didn't ovulate until I nightweaned around 16 months - caught the first egg and never had AF. Still nothing with Eleanor but I've not nightweaned yet (she's almost 18 months).

There's really no rhyme or reason sometimes although in general longer periods between nursing sessions make it more likely - which is why starting solids triggers for some and nightweaning for others.

16mo after DD1, and I didn't ovulate the next 2 cycles.

No signs since DD2.

After both DDs I returned to >FT work including overnight call at 6 weeks, they stopped cosleeping and STTN ~9mo. We decided to TTC2 when DD1 was 12mo- ha and we're not preventing to TTC3 for what that's worth.

Got my period at 7mo. pp, but haven't seen it since. It's wierd and we want to TTC so I'm hoping it'll come back soon, but I am pumping 2x at work and nurse 3 more times (more if she's up at night) at home.

I got pregnant when DS was about 17 months old, but never had a pp period. It was the first month we tried! He was still nursing about three times a day. So...have fun trying even without a period and you never know!

20 months with #1. It would be great if it stays away longer this time.

DS1 was 22 months when I got pregnant with DS2, and I hadn't gotten my period back yet, but he had recently night weaned and I was cutting back sessions in the hopes of ovulating (it worked!). I got my period back this time when DS2 was 22 months, again about a month after he truly night weaned.

I said over twelve months. I got my first PP back at 14 months when I started dropping pumping sessions at work. DS was still a frequent nurser at home, but the longer time between sessions was enough to jump start AF.
