Hormonal

I hate this feeling! I feel myself being mean and I can't stop it. Somehow I have managed so far to keep my composure at work but then I get home and am just mean to my husband or when I talk to my mom I feel like I'm just nasty and harsh. I hate who I become when in treatment. Sorry just wanted to vent a little. Anyone else having this problem? How do you deal with it. I always try and apologize to DH and for the most part he seems understanding but I hate that I get like this

Re: Hormonal

  • I don't think there is much you can do other than when you find yourself in that mood you have to stop yourself and ask if it is really that important to be "this mad" about.  If I can remember to think this usually the wind blows out of me...but all you can do is pray your DH and mom are understanding.  And come on here and vent!! Haha!

    GL to you!

  • I deal with the same thing. I try to realize that is what I am doing and calm down, but it isn't always that easy. I may keep calls with mom short and warn DH so he will let things blow over. Of course I apologize, but I still feel badly about it. IF sucks, but at least moodiness is a temporary side effect.

Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
