Ovary drilling

Any opinions or success witht this is welcomed. Little backgroundI have had fertility issues since 2009 when I was diagnosed with PCOS. After surgery to remove tumors on my overs I got pregnant with my son on one round of clomid and timed intercours (we were so lucky).Now with our attempt for number 2 we have done three rounds of meds both clomid and letrozole with timed intercourse. WIth those three we had one pregnancy but ended in a CM. Then we tried two rounds of IUI with clomid and negtives.Financially IVF is not an option and so my dr. said he would recommend surgery to make sure I have no endometriosis and my tubes are ok since in theory everything should have worked. He said while we were in there it should be worth the try and do ovary drilling that I was a good candidate and it could fix my ovulation probels. (I do not ovulate or have periods with out medications). Any advice and opinions would be helpful. I am struggling with this.

    I have never heard of ovary drilling. Have you had a recent HSG? How is husband? sorry if it is in your siggy. I'm bump from my phone.

    I've never heard of it either. I have PCOS and am on Metforim to help with ovulation as well as Clomid. I know several women who used it to get pregnant and it worked for us with DS.

    Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
    18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
    BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10

    TTC #2 since Dec 2011
    BFP #2 7/8/12 EDD: 3/18/12 M/C @ 9w1d: 8/16/12

    My husband is above average and my levels are good. I have done clomid and I am responding but not well. Next stp was either ivf which insurance doesn't pay or surgery and insurance does pay.

    Are you on soulcysters? I know some ladies on there and had some success. If Femara and IUI doesn't work for me, I may look into it as well.
