Holy growth spurt!

My kid has been on the boob every hour for the last 12 hours. And considering she takes 35-40 minutes to eat, I'm dying.

I feel like I should have spent the day in bed, topless watching vampire diaries. I got NOTHING done.

How are you guys surviving this?

I certainly don't feel like I am surviving it when it happens, so you've got company.

Give yourself permission (easier said than done, I know) to just "relax" when she does that and don't feel bad if laundry, dishes, whatever - piles up. Know that it won't be forever and also know that you are completely capable of handling it.

That was me on Saturday. Luckily we had my parents over that evening to watch the boys so we could go to the tigers playoff game. So, that was my motivation all day to get through the spurt. He's been much better today! Hang in there!
