Thank you, ladies, for all of your messages of support this week. This has been a very up-and-down week.
DOWN-massive bleeding monday, went in Tuesday and they drew blood and did a u/s and all they could see was a huge blood clot. The RE there (not my usual doctor) was very nice but said it's over, the rest will probably pass on its own.
UP--Then my RE calls the next day and says--wait, your HCG is still high, go back on the meds and come in for another ultrasound.
DOWN--Today they saw a gestational sac--but only a sac, nothing inside. So RE says sorry, we should be seeing a fetal pole by now (I was 4 weeks post transfer today). We'll draw HCG and if it's falling, as he suspected, it's a likely m/c.
UP--My HCG went up to 23,000 from 18,000 on Tuesday. Dr. says still probably not viable but going back in on Monday for another ultrasound. Still having some slight spotting,
It sucks to drag this out but I'm grateful that my RE wants to just be extra sure that of where things stand before I stop the meds. Weirdly, having a little more time in this limbo stage has at least given me some time to adjust mentally to a likely loss and not feel like things were just yanked away out of the blue.
Hope everyone is well, it is great to see some good news out there.

Re: FET roller coaster ride
Uggh. This story is very familiar. I was about 7 week and several days before my RE admitted that indeed it was an anembryonic pregnancy (blighted ovum). I had quite a bit of bleeding before we got to that conclusion. My HCG was high. As in like 50,000 or so before I actually miscarried. I was about 8 weeks at that time.
I am not sure how many weeks you are exactly, but in my case I knew by then we should be seeing more than a sac. I'm sorry.
