Kind of random since we aren't planning on TTC for at least another year, but I am on a name kick and wondered what names you ladies are thinking of for any future kiddos
DS is Gavin, our last name starts with a B and rhymes with Biker.
For a future boy, I think I like Jude, Elliott, Everett, Liam, or Owen.
I have a tougher time with girl names, but maybe Stella Jane (mn is family name) or Audrey Cameron (mn is family name). But I'm not nearly as sold on our girls names, they just aren't totally clicking with me.
What are your names?
Re: What names are you holding on to for future kids?
We are done with kids. If we were to have had a 3rd it would have been Connor Lawrence [MN is DH's dads MN] or Emma Claire. I'm sad we won't be using those names but not sad about not having a 3rd.
Names on our list:
boys - Drake Everett & Declan Scott (however there were just 2 Declan's born in my town to friends of mine, and my sister's soon-to-be nephew on her H's side is going to be Declan... so that would make my sister have 2 Declan nephews... not that we're related so I don't much care, but something to think about)
girl- Ruby Lee.
We want 2 more kids... if they are girls, it will be Penelope Grace and we will call her Penny and then Annabell (not sure of middle name yet)
If they are boys, it will be Gunnar Thomas and Liam (not sure of middle name yet)
BFP #1: July 12, 2010 Natural M/C: July 26, 2010
BFP #2: January 30 ,2011 Born: September 29, 2011
BFP #3: January 5, 2013 Born: August 25, 2013
Since this is a current topic in our house I have a few
The only problem is that most of our girl names have been taken by either family or pets...
Girls-Ruby (taken by cousin), Lucy (My mom named her dog), Analeigh (MH thinks it's to close to Ashlynn so it's a no). So, we really don't have any.
Boys-MH is dead set on Victor Vaughn...so once again I will be praying for a girl.
Boy would be Xavier Sedo
Girls would be Cecily, Arielle, Adelle or Adelaide. Middle names are TBD.
It's really all up in the air though. We were team green and walked into the hospital with 19 names with the plan to spend time with the baby before naming. She was born and I named her while highly drugged, ten minutes later. We have a strong German last name that starts with a "K", so we try and stay away from "C" and "K" names.
Abigail for a girl.
We are out of boy names.
Girl Mila, Morgan, Maura, or Mara and possibly Tamar as a middle name, definitely something with a T
Girls' names I have on the back burner are Daphne Violet, Hazel Vivian, and Genevieve Margot or some combination of those names. Boys I have no idea, I draw a blank. I like Joaquin and dh thinks it's terrible. The bad part is I don't think I will have a daughter to name, I think we will have another boy.
We found out next Wednesday (the 17th) what this little one is.
Boy will be Thomas Reed and girl is Caroline Jean.
Our top 3 girls' names are Eleanor, Amelia, and Hazel. Our top 3 boys names are Callum, Felix, and August
Not having anymore but I still have names...our last name rhymes with Hanes.
Boy: Leo Edward
Girl:Signe Alice "Signe" after my great aunt Or Thea Noel (but only if born near Christmas) "Thea"after my great grandmother.
My kids' names are
Oliver Richard
Audrey Juliette
Violet Cecily
I love August, It was on our list and I told everyone...but my SIL used it first, in the form of Augustan, so it got scratched.
The only name I can think of is Sloan. I wanted to name DS Sloan if he was going to be a girl but DH was not fond of it at the time. My cousin has already taken my boy names (Zach, Jake, and Chris) and I named my dog my other favorite girl's name which is Emma. Aside from Sloan the names have already be spent.
ETA: DS's name is a family Irish surname with the "O" removed. DH is Norwegian but all of the names in that category sucked big time (at least the ones we saw).
Our girl name is Adeline Virginia, after both of our grandmothers.
My top boy name (if you ask me today) right now is Miles, and DH's is Gareth, so I'm thinking Miles Gareth....
If #2 is a boy, he will be Samuel Dean.
If #2 is a girl, we've got some figuring out to do...
BFP#2 2.5.11 (EDD 10.15.11) DS born 9.28.11
BFP#4 8.27.13 (EDD 5.6.14) DD born 4.23.14

~All AL'ers welcome~
If this one is a boy, we will have a family name for both his first and mn ... but I'm not sure if it would be Andrew Charles, or Charles Andrew.. still up for debate. And hey, even that may change come delivery lol.
If it's a girl, we probably won't name her until she is born.. with L, we went in to the hospital with about 10 girls names and just went down the list to see which one suited her best. I'm not sure if this is my hormones talking, but I also liked Charlie for a girl.. but we'll see.
Super I love Tessa so much! That was our runner up and would be used for another girl, but then my cousin stole it 4 months after DD was born. Phoebe is about the only other girl name we can agree on.
Gator's name is Greta! We got a lot of negativity towards that name at first so it was making me second guess it. On the name boards on the bump, people were also staying it was too harsh. I'm glad she was named Greta though because we didn't want something popular or cutesy. And I would love to use Alice if I ever had another girl but my friend recently used it and its my grandma's name...and although I love my grandma, I don't want to name my kid after her....but she would always say the baby was named after her.
Oh and I forgot to add that opinions on the bump naming page seemed to have changed. Last year seeing Greta on there was rare and it was all negative comments. This year it is different as I have seen Greta posted four or five times in the past few months and the comments are positive.
If it were another boy we would have a hard time, our second pick name was Evan but my friend named her son that. It was the only other name we agreed on for a boy.
