Beta #3 and "Thanks"
Just got my results from today's beta (#3). They wanted to make sure they called me before the long weekend so we could schedule my u/s for Tuesday.
My levels today (19dp5dt) are 8570. It didn't quite double between Wednesday and today, but the nurse didn't sound concerned. She did say that the u/s is early, but that they are just looking for the location to make double sure that it's in the uterus and not growing somewhere else. She said she didn't think that there was anything to worry about and that this is normal protocol.
I'm still nervous and I'm sure that that feeling isn't going to go away anytime soon no matter what my numbers are.
IF is a really horrible thing. You ride the emotional roller coaster for years on end. Some days you have this overwhelming optimisim and hope and other days it just beats you into the ground with dispair. Even now, when I should be thrilled, I'm finding that the uncertanty of IF is trying yet again, to steal my joy.
Thanks again ladies for sticking with me for this journey. I feel like I should introduce myself over at PAIF but I'm still not 100% comfortable with moving on. You ladies, on this board and 3T, have inspired me and kept me as sane as possible throughout my 2+ years of this roller coaster.
I'll keep answering questions and cheering for all of you. I hope you all are successful in whatever journey you're taking. Love and hugs to you all!

3/4/13 measuring right on track beautiful heartbeat 171 bpm, graduated from RE to OB... bittersweet.

I'm so happy for you!! Please let us know how your u/s goes! I'm betting there might be more than one sac in there giving you those big numbers!! Congratulations!!

Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!
FET 11/17/12: transferred 2, one 4B, one 4C. Beta 11/30:BFFN

Tried to conceive on our own for a year before moving on to fertility treatments. Dx unexplained. About 10 months of procedures, shots, and countless doctor appointments, we got our BFP! BFN on 5 IUI's
IVF#1 - ER 09/14/12, ET 09/17/12: two 8 cells, BFP: 9/28 Beta#1 56.8; 10/2 Beta#2 284; 10/5 Beta#3 939; 10/9 Beta #4 4967. One baby on board with EDD 06/07/13!
So happy for you! So happy!!! Keep your chin up, I hope today is one of those overwhelmingly positive days! I'm trying to make mine one!
