We have a couple but they're not my favorite. DS has pretty much outgrown them now, even adjusted to the largest setting, and they're not good for a heavy wetter IMO. They seem really hit and miss, though. Some people love them and some hate them. I wouldn't buy more than 1 if you want to try them.

This. We had a few, and sold them. Weird fit, and not absorbent enough. Some mama's love them, but most hate them.
We have used them since DD was born and loved them but she is about to outgrow the one size. My sister loaned us mediums and it seems like they will fit for a long time.
I started my stash with 25 small FB and 25 mediums. I love them. The only reason I destashed is I bought new one-size dipes (not FB), but I still kept about 6 mediums. That's always his first diaper of the day, before we switch to newer, cuter patterned dipes.
I think I'm in the minority but I actually love the elites. They are the trimmest diaper we have and they fit her well enough that she doesn't mess them like she does with the bunchy crotch on all of her snap-rise one size diapers. Daycare told me they are her favorite diaper too. (even over the aplix diapers we have!)

I will say that I haven't tried the elites. We bought our FB before the elites came out. I'd be curious to try them, but since we really don't like the one size FB that much and our stash is pretty complete, I'm not super motivated.
Also, we have used and liked the sized FB. His newborn stash was primarily prefolds and x-small FBs. If he outgrows his one size diapers before he's potty trained, I will look into the large FB. I like the sized ones, just not the one-size.
I have 3 elites and I don't really like them. I can't get the sizing right so it leaks every time I put him in one. I only use them when all the other diapers are either dirty on in the laundry. FB are my least favorite in my stash.

You might even want to try medium. I thought DD might be large since she is getting closer to outgrowing the one size but borrowed mediums from my sister and she has tons of room to grow. I know my niece never went beyond medium, of course she was a skinny mini and potty trained before two.

I have one and I like it, but not enough to buy more. I like my Sunbaby and Kawaii more.
But the one we have is a great daytime diaper for us. It still fits well and she is 25lbs and 32" long.

Yeah our mediums are definitely still big on Lexi at 21lbs.
Yea, we had a medium that he outgrew months ago.
<-- doesn't have a skinny boy
