Just caught myself...

Commenting on the 6 to 9 boards thinking that was Gator's age group. It was a good half hour before it hit me she is in the 9 to 12 month age group. And then I got a little sad noticing there are no more age groups after 12 months.....proving that the baby stage is over.

    Haha! Oh I am still calling her a baby.....I don't care if others think she is no longer considered a baby after one. Poor kid will be 18 and I will still be saying "hi baby!"

    I still call my 2yr old baby. I don't care!! She will be baby for a long time. The other day I said "I love you baby" then she said "I love you baby" back to me. Apparently it's ok to call mommy's babies too. Stick out tongue

    Yes, it's definitely weird to think our LOs will be toddlers soon.  I still kind of think as LOs up to 18mo as babies though...

    I think of toddler as being one stage of babyhood.  There's newborn, infant and toddler, but they're all babies.  And I don't think that the designation of toddler happens at a certain age, it happens when they start to *toddle* (which Lily really started doing in this week following her first birthday, just so that I would be forced into thinking of her as a toddler Wink).

    DS will always be my baby and I know there is no hope for anything different. I still call my 10 yo old dog my puppy! I agree with PP...I will probably call the University when he is 18 and tell them that I want to enroll my baby in college.

    Too cute! When my niece hit 2 if you would call her a baby she would say "I'm not a baby I'm a big girl....ok?"

    That's cute! My DD is jealous in the baby department. She doesn't like DS being called the baby and her not. If I call her a big girl she will say, "no, I baby!" Then she will pretend cry and act like a baby. Too cute! 2 yr olds are just so fun!

    haha. You need to have a talk with my MIL. She has told me several times that DD is no longer my baby.
