Cloth diaper ?s

After reading a lot of posts on here about CDing, I am considering switching.  Can anyone recommend a good website on CDing?  Also any recs on brands or styles (prefolds, etc)?

I am also curious if any of you use CDs at daycare.  If so, how have you worked that out with them?

TIA for any info you can share!

  • I don't have time to write a long post with all of the info I have accumulated, but I recommend heading over to the Eco Friendly board and scrolling through the past posts.  There is a lot of CD info over there and really nice ladies!

  • FWIW, I just posted a similar question on the eco-friendly family board.  a lot of the mommies are over here too, but I have been getting some helpful responses from that board in the past.  GL!

  • I wrote all about our experience on my blog - www.babyrabies.com.  The two most helpful posts are here and here.
  • I like cottonbabies.com, jilliansdrawers.com, and nickisdiapers.com.  I'm a fan of pocket diapers.

  • Thanks, Ladies!  MsDonkey your blog is awesome!
  • I also suggest you do some browsing on the EF board, there is so much information there.

One of my favorite sites is pinstripesandpolkadots.com.  There is alot of info on the different types of diapers, how to wash, FAQs, etc.

  • try diaperpin.com for info and our eco board here on the bump

I recommend green mountain diapers for prefolds. More sizes to choose from and they are great!

My SIL watches Caelen part time, and she is super eco friendly. She has no problem with it. Most of the ladies that have daycare say that AI diapers are best because they are the least hassle. Try taking a Bum Genius or FB to your daycare and show them that they are easy to use and you just put them in a little wet bag when wet or soiled. They might make an exception!
