What to wear to shower? ::Edit::

My shower is next Saturday! (YAY!! Big Smile) I'm so excited to see my friends and family and also to get some "tools" to help with baby lol. But I'm wondering what I should wear. I always see these girls in cute outfits that are all flowery and pretty but they are all short sleeved or dresses and the temperature just dropped significantly here. 

Any suggestions that would be cute but still warm? lol Thanks!

I just remembered I wanted to ask if any of you are getting your hostess/es a thank you gift? If so what?

    I was going to look into either a maxi dress and cardigan type combo or a cute sweater outfit. I'm going to look gross no matter what I wear. I just want it to be "dressier", but comfy.

    I would wear a pretty sweater and leggings! And boots! I love fall clothes. I have no idea what I'm wearing to mine next weekend though since I haven't been able to buy any new or nicer clothes. Bed rest is really cramping my style.

    I wore a dress. I was hoping the weather would be nicer than it was.  We were outside.  So, because it was chilly, I wore black leggings underneath and a cardigan on top.  I was fine and still got to wear the cute dress I bought! Big Smile  I also gave my mother, the hostess flowers as a gift.  It wasn't much, but I think it was appropriate.

    I wore a dress last weekend to a function and looked like such a cow. Dresses just don't flatter me! So I'll be wearing skinny jeans and a cute fitted top that's snug around my belly. I just feel that its the main attraction and needs to be shown off!

    I was thinking about a sweater dress with a pair of leggings and boots. For my hostesses I got a few candles from bath and body works to go along with a card.

    Mine is in a month, so it'll be even colder in Chicago. I'm wearing a pair of dress pants and a Target top I got for $7! I has sleeves to the the elbow but I'm always warm.

    My MIL is throwing the shower, so we are going to take her & FIL out for a nice dinner.

    I'll be wearing some skinny maternity jeans that are sooooo sexy AND comfy and a cute silk blouse. The question is what will I wear on my feet. I'm thinking these wedges I have that are not that high. 

    I technically do not know who is hosting my shower because it is supposed to be a surprise but I think i will get them a gift afterwards.

    Thanks for all the ideas ladies. I think I'll look for a sweater dress and leggings.
    Maybe I'll do candles too for their gifts

    my baby shower is next weekend too! :) i plan on wearing legging and a little dress as well. it's still pretty toasty here during the day (i live in NC) so hopefully i won't burn up more than i already am!

    I have a pair from Old Navy and another pair that is J Brand from a Pea in the Pod.
