Granted we try to limit TV but this post isn't about tv TIME, I promise!
DS adores Curious George (PBS), and then other shows like Super Whyy, Lazytown (Sprout) are popular with him. He gets into the Sprout stuff with Chica and Sean or whomever. In fact we saw Chica at the local children's museum this past summer which was really cool (it's locally filmed I believe).
My friend of mine has a 4.5 year old and 3 year old was really surprised that DS "still" watches Sprout. Not in a bad way but her kids have moved on I suppose to Nick or other things. Just wondering if your kiddos are "Sproutlets" or are to other things.
Re: Shows/channels your LO watches
Nick Jr is on most of the time in our house-all the shows Fresh Beat, Dora, Mike the Knight,etc...Occasionally, Disney channel-Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Doc McMuffins or whatever the show is called? McStuffins? McMuffins? Is there a Mc in the name?
Sunday mornings we switch to UnaVision for Plaza de Sesamo.
We used to watch Nick Jr. and DD was very into Dora and Diego, Backyardigans and Fresh Beats w/ a little bit of Mickey Clubhouse once in a blue moon.
But, something's changed and now she's all about Curious George and Daniel Tiger. Despite being a huge Sesame Street fan as a kid, I really don't like it as an adult, but I love the way the Nick Jr. kids talk directly to the kids.
DS's favorites right now are Team Umizoomi, Octonauts, Word World, and Handy Manny. But he also enjoys Yo Gabba, Little Einsteins, Super Why, Dora, and Pocoyo in Spanish or English.
