I'm in the middle of a heated argument...

in October 2011 Moms
with my brother on fb about the election. We are on total opposite sides of the argument. It started out fine and then the final straw for me was when he used the word "retard". I'm pissed! I thought he was better than that. I just need to step away before it gets out of hand.

    I always have to be careful what I say on FB because my views are completely opposite from the rest of my family's on just about every issue out there. Just remember that everyone can read what you post!

    I had one of these recently with some random chick about welfare and drug testing. There are no winners. It ended with me getting buzzed and deleting a huge chunk of my old drinking friends because it turns out I don't know them very well.

    My parents have a rule...if you start talking about religion or politics you better move the conversation outside...there have been too many heated debates at family gatherings.

    Arguing politics is one thing, but when people use language like "retard" it's just unacceptable.  (IMO) It's one of the most ignorant things people can call someone else.  Just sayin'... You'll come off looking good in this fight no matter what your political views are compared to the others in the debate.  :)
