  I did it and didn't have problems, but I did hear that some people do have issues b/c of weight. Can you ask your agent before you get into the application process?

  I bought life insurance while pregnant with my first child, I didn't have any problems.  But I would recommend getting coverage quick b/c your rate can go up based on weight.  I got my coverage right around beginning of 2nd tri.

  We bought life insurance while I was in my 2nd tri and I don't recall it being an issue.  I know we had to go through some medical testing (the insurer got access to our medical records and did their own blood work), but I ultimately had a better rating than DH.  There's always the chance that I would have been a smidge better off going through the process if I wasn't pregnant, but I didn't feel robbed by the rates we were offered.

  I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to buy life insurance just because you're pregnant.

  We bought life insurance when I was pregnant. The process took awhile, so you'll probably want to get started right away, but once the policy was in place, I was covered.

  They did require a pretty quick, easy physical with blood tests from both of us. DH had to fast for his. They asked me to do the same but I declined, as I was eating about eight times a day at that point and DD needed some food. It wasn't a problem.
