Quick question. We have a 10 month old daughter with a head cold. She has a warm mist humidifier we have been using. It has a spot to add Vicks to. Is this safe to do for her? I have read varying things on this subject. Thanks in advance.
We have used the Vick's inserts many times and had no problems, they actually helped quite a bit. I think we have the cool mist humidifier, not sure if that makes a difference. I have never heard of them being bad.

We use one. We put the Vicks in when he's really sick, oherwise just use the humidifier part. He seems to have been fine with it for the past 10 almost 11 months.
When LO was around 5 months, the pharmacist suggested the baby vick's rub (yes it says baby vicks on it) on her chest rather than putting in the humidifier. That's what I do and it works great.
