I have been buying my children christmas presents since July. I have to do it over time becuase I tend to give them ALOT since I don't buy anything all year long so they get many toys.
My dd will be 2 1/2 at christmas...I have NO clue what to give her. I have gotten her the Abagail doll and the books from the hallmark store....I love it!
I have also been investing in the Mickey and friend train from the hallmark store (they are ordaments).
I have also brought her a Minnie Watch from JPenny's.
I don't know what to get her...she has all the 6-36 month toys. She still puts EVERYTHING in her mouth so I have to be careful.
I have gotten a lot of stuff for my son ... the boy 6-36 month toys...trains etc.
Any ideas??
I should mention we did the whole kitchen / table and chair thing last year.
Re: I know its early but Christmas
we got ours an electric keyboard. (she doesn't need a ton of toys as she's at school 9 hours a day, 5 days a week.)
other ideas: bike, camera

Since you live in FL, could you get her something for outside (maybe even on good sale since it is getting colder). Like a slide or small swing set?
I am not sure what to get my son either for x-mas. He will be 2.5 and liked to play with toys but is not into anything really. He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhuse, but he got several DVDs for xmas and there are not really alot of toys from the house. He just starting like Jake or maybe there is something out there in that theme.
We did think about a bike or motorized toy, but I think that is better for 3.
One thing DS likes is the mega blocks bulding set. He can do legos but they take along time to really make stuff and he is only 2. But the mega blocks, you can build fast and he enjoys them.
I wish I could do that but DS's birthday is in a few days so not only do I know he's gonna get a ton of stuff but I'm also spending my little bit of disposable income on party favors.
We are focusing on quality, not quantity. Last year we got DS a ton of cheap toys and they're all gone now. We're going to 2 things: Hot Wheels tracks and a Leap Pad.
