funny nursing story

As i just finished nursing LO and putting her to bed, I was thinking of a funny thing I did a couple months back when I was waking in the night to feed her, very much sleep deprived.

She half-woke up hungry and I brought her into our bed to feed her and fall back asleep. We had done this many, many times, baby and me, and were pros...so I could not figure out what was wrong when she wasn't latching and sticking to the plan! Well, turns out I was so sleepy that I was on my side trying to get her to latch on to the top...hahaha, poor thing was trying, but just couldn't make it happen.

Anyone else have a funny nursing story?

I nursed lo in the backseat of the car. I locked the doors before we started nursing. When we were done I tried to open the back door. I was totally locked in. I forget the child locks were on. The car seat is in the middle so I had to take the head rest of the front seat and dive into the front. My friend pulled up right next to me as I was doing this. Totally embarrassing.

When Carrington is in a playful mood after she's done nursing she'll keep the nipple in her mouth but start smiling and giggling while watching me. It cracks me up every time I look down at her doing this.

Mine likes to keep the nipple in his mouth and then start blowing raspberries. Sooo cute!
