L caught my cold and has had a low fever of 101 since yesterday. She seems very uncomfortable so I've been trying to give her Baby Tylenol in the syrup form, but she's having none of it. I'm guessing it's too sweet for her. Any tips for diluting the taste or just to get her to take it? TIA!
Re: LO won't take medicine
It was down for most of the day but went back up around dinner time, so I thought I'd try the Tylenol so she could sleep more comfortably. It's her first time having any over the counter medicine. She's also got a gel patch on her forehead and we had a lukewarm bath since she was too sick to bathe last night.
I agree with the PPs to try another flavor. I hope she feels better!
My DD hates taking medicine! As soon as she sees me coming at her with the syringe she starts blowing raspberries. I've tried putting it in a 4 oz bottle (so that she finishes it) or distracting while I give her tiny bits at a time. I show her something she loves on the ipad (for her it's Twinkle Twinkle Little Star by Giggle Bellies) and slowly give her the meds.
Good luck!
Using this thing is the only way I can get DD to take any meds (tylenol or antibiotic)
