What do you do if you have to be in work before the time school starts? Also, what do you do anout picking up your child after school?
I am currently looking for a new job but it seems like all the good ones are in the city. This would mean well over an hour commute (so I couldn't take a late lunch to pick my DD up at school). This it a total "cart before the hourse" type senerio since she is only 1.
However,I am not the type of person that likes to jump from company to company so I am hoping to still be there when she goes to school. Do you hire someone to drop off/pick your kid up or do you find an before/afterschool program for them to attend?

I have two options for my kids if I need to go to work earlier. One is that the school offers before-school care. The other is that a nearby daycare center offers before-school and after-school care and will take kids to and pick them up from school.
