New Intro! DD 2.28.13

Hi Ladies!

I am new to the bump. I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks after conception and was in shock! I am so happy. God has blessed me with a good pregnancy so far and can't complaint. Things are happening very fast for me. Graduated college, got married last year, and today I'm 19 weeks pregnant. Too many changes, but they are all blessings! Dont know the sex yet :( baby was facing down last U/S. I only gained 3 lbs from the beggining of the pregnancy until my last month appt, but I already show! It's all baby bump, It's very obvious that people in the subway already offered up their seats for me (only a couple so far).

Excited to be part of February birth club (DD 2.28), especially since my birthday is on the 17th!

  • Welcome and congrats!!

I'm slightly jealous that people are offering you their seat on the subway. I'm a week ahead of you, and for sure showing and no one has offered me their seat :( I'm not quite at the stage where I'm willing to pick someone and ask them to get up for me, but that's coming pretty soon I think (mainly because it is all baby and my hips/back are starting to hurt when I stand for a long time).

  • Thank you ladies!

haha It's usually when your are not that tired someone offers up the seat, but when I am tired and my feet hurt, no one does. Oh Irony!

A friend who is a mom of a 2 year old recommended to "puff up the belly," the thought of it it's hilarious! I haven't tried that yet lol.

You will get some soon. There are still some good people with  nice values left out there

  • Welcome!

We have the same due date. My profile says the 26th and I think my ticker's might be the 27th but my midwife says the 28th. My little sister's birthday and my DH birthday is March 5th so its really close!

Congratulations on your little girl and welcome to the board!

  • Welcome sweetheart! You and I are due only a few days apart! My LO is facing downward as well, and didn't want to cooperate at her U/S either. The tech finally got a decent enough view to tell us it was a girl though, haha. Boy am I hoping so, because it would be awkward to go through my next 20-ish weeks thinking she's a girl, and then on birthday she be a boy!! I'm so scared about that but everyone has hold me to trust the tech, haha!!
