Poll: how long is your child's day?

The post below about the dentist appt has me curious: how many hours are your DC's at daycare/nanny/etc? (And how old are they?)

My kids are at daycare from 7:30am-4:45pm, so about 9 hours and 15 minutes. Sometimes a little longer if DH works late. DD is 23 months and DS is 6.5 months.

DD is 2 and is dropped off at 8:30 and never picked up later than 6 pm.

We will be dropping off around 7:15 to 7:30 and picking up around 5:30.

He gets dropped off at 6AM and I pick up at 1PM. So, 7 hours and he is 11 weeks.

Usually about 9 hours, sometimes a little longer if DH or I are jammed at work. DD will be 2 in November.

The average is 10 hours at the center, give or take. She is 5.5 months old.

From 3 months to 2.5 yrs, she was in daycare for 10 hours a day (7:30-5:30), sometimes a little longer if evening traffic was bad. Now that she's in preschool (almost 3), we have to get her fed before dropoff, which takes longer, so her school day is a bit shorter - more like 8-5:30 (9.5 hours).

Ours depends on the day of the week. At 17 months DS is at daycare the following:

M- 10 Hrs

T- at home with hubby

W- 5.5 Hrs

TH- 9 Hrs

F- 10 Hrs

I try and get him as early as possible, so I am usually at the sitters by 5:15 pm

DS goes to a home daycare, dropped off at 6:30 am and gets picked up by 5:00-5:15pm...unfortunately work schedules for me and DH are long

DS is 3 years old, and didn't start this schedule until he was about 2. DD will be on this scheule at 6 weeks old.

she gets dropped off between 8-8:30, pick up between 5:30-6, so 10 hours max, normally closer to 9. She's almost 4.

He's just over a year old, and he's in daycare from about 7 am to 5:15 pm, so a little over 10 hours.

DS1 (5 years, attends senior kindergarten every other day) bus picks him up at 7:59am and drops him off at about 4:10pm

DS2 (3.5 years, attends daycare 5 days per week) gets dropped off between 8:15am and 9am and picked up between 4pm and 5pm.

We get to daycare at 7:00 am. and I pick up about 5:45. DS is there a little less than 11 hours.

DS is in school 9-3:15 M-F. DD goes to DC 2 days a week usually from 9-2. I work nights, so DD only goes to DC so I can get some sleep after working all night.

When DD was a baby, I worked PT and she was in daycare 6.5 hours. Now at 17 months, it's typically 8.5. I'm lucky to work three minutes away, and if I need to be at the office early or late, DH can usually get her.

Like I said in the other post, I suspect there's a "normal" schedule that each of us has and when we go over it, that's what raises the mommy guilt flags. I know I had a lot of guilt about going back to work FT but now I don't think twice about it.

They get dropped off around 7-7:15. They get picked up by 4:30.

They can only be there a max of 10 hours a day per the daycare policies.

She's there from roughly 8:10 - 5:15. She's 7 months.

From about 7:30 until about 5:00, so 9.5ish hours.

ETA: He's 2.5 now, but he started DCP at 12w (he was at a center before and is now at a Montessori school).

My DD is 7 1/2 months and she is in daycare for 8 1/2 hours. 8am - 4:20pm.

I work "part-time", but with commuting it's 30 hours a week. They have a nanny for six hours a day. DS1 is 4.5, DS2 is 2. DS1is in preschool for three of those hours.

Nanny gets to us at 8:30am, I run out the door to work, and then I get back home most days at 5:30pm. So 9 hours.

They are 17 months.

I drop them off at 7:45 and pick them up at 5:15.

DS is almost 7 months. He goes to DC three days a week. On those days he is typically there for roughly 8-9 hours.

DS is 3.5 years old. He gets to DC at 7 and is picked up between 5-5:30 so 10-10.5 hours a day. I work an hour away from home and DH is closer initally DH was going to always do pick up and get out of work at 4:-4:30 but his job has gotten increasingly busier so that does not happen. However DS is home with me on Mondays, my parents on Tuesdays and at the center Wed-Friday.

About 9.25 a 9.5 hours. DS is 3.5 and DS2 will have the same schedule when he is about 16 weeks.

DS is 10.5 months, and is at daycare M-F 7 am-4 pm.

9-3ish....she is there 6-7 hours a day. DH and I both share pick up/drop off and have flexible schedules. It used to be a bit shorter day,but she really LOVES it there. So, Im not always running to get there.
