Hey ladies. My DH and I tried over a year to get pregnant so my MD decided to put me on Clomid. I got pregnant the second month taking it at 50 milligrams. I was just wondering if there are any others with success stories. My friend was taking 150 milligrams and got pregnant right away and is pregnant with triplets. Anyone else have multiples or know of people with multiples on this medication? Looking forward to your responses.

    I'm gestating what hopefully turns into a future Clomid baby!  50 mg on first try.  I was monitored on CD 11, and though there were two follicles, I was told one looked dominant and so only it should pop.  I didn't O til CD 15 so hopefully that didn't change.

    I did 50mg of Clomid and got pregnant the first cycle with it. HOWEVER, I do not believe my success was to Clomid. I ovulated fine on my own. Our IF issues were with my hubby and a very low sperm count due to a vasectomy reversal. I believe my success was with the IUI which put his swimmer in my uterus and closer to the eggs... BUT i have a friend who didn't ovulate normally on her own and got pregnant on the 2nd round of Clomid.

    I was also on my second round of clomid. We will see Wednesday what we got going on in there :
    TTC 10/2010 DX with PCOS 01/2012 Metformin 05/12.     Ours is a Clomid baby.  I was not ovulating at all on my own, so the doc put me on 50 mg.  BFP with the first cycle.

    I took one round unmonitored Clomid then became more educated about the risks. If you are taking Clomid you should have bloodwork and ultrasounds at various times during your cycle. I didn't get pregnant and when I started seeing an RE, he thought it would be better to go with Femara because PCOS patients tend to respond better. It got KU the first round.

    DD was conceived with the first round of Clomid and this pregnancy was also the result of Clomid. I will know on Monday if there is one or more inside :)

    My suitemate from college got pregnant with triplets on her first round of clomid (100mg). She just had them about four days ago at 30 weeks exactly. They're doing very well for micropremies (all of them are around 2lbs and 14-16 inches long), two are even breathing on their own!

    ETA: I also wanted to add that she had four losses before the triplets which makes this story all the sweeter!

    He's my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping.
