How are you saving LO's pictures?

My worst fear is that somehow I am going to lose all the pictures I have been taking of Abby. I cherish them so much already so I know I will cherish them even more for years to come.

I take most of my pictures on my phone so I have them there, on my computer, and saved on photobucket. I'm going to be printing them all out to put into albums for her as well. I think I might also transfer them to CD or a zipdrive. Is this overkill? Do I sound like a crazy lady?

    I know exactly what you mean.  I have mine on two external hard drives and our computer.  I recently had an issue with my phone and had to restore it to factory settings.... lost some photos and videos that were not backed up yet - heartbreak.

    We are also looking into getting some cloud storage through Amazon.  I like the idea of keeping the files stored out of the house, in the event something happens to the house.  Something to look into.

    I put them on 2 external drives and upload to Shutterfly every week.  Between 2 kids we have over 7,000 pics right now.  Yikes!

    You just reminded me to back up my laptop.  Thanks!  We have 1 external hard drive with all of our photos.  other then that they're all on my laptop which is sadly slowly but surely on its way out :(

    External hard drive, but I really love the idea of real albums that you can flip through so soon I'm going to get a whole bunch printed and do that. It kind of makes me sad to think that our kids will grow up in a world where pictures are all on the computer and you have to click instead of flip pages... Call me old fashioned :p

    Almost every single photo/video was taken on our phones so we transfer them to the computer and keep copies of them on a USB thumb drive thingy. I had a bunch of my favorite pictures printed up just recently also and will be making an album with them.
