I want to take a family photo for our Christmas cards bit I have no idea what to do for outfits. Help! We are a laid back family so jeans are our go to. I need to find a casual but way cute dress or outfit for DD and then I can work around that but I got nothing. I don't want to spend more than 30 bucks on an outfit she'll wear once. I'm going to check the consignment shops but I'd rather have something new if I can.
What are you doing for holiday pictures?
Re: Christmas Cards
Fun to think about:) We'll use our six month photos (taking them in 2 weeks) for our Christmas Cards, so they will be more fall-oriented...but I think an easy way to make your pics more "Christmasy" would just to put DD in red. It doesn't need to be uber "Christmasy"...just a basic red sweater and jeans would be adorable...then you both can have red accents, too, and voila: Christmas!
How about something like this from Carters?

Cute sweater! And cheap! Love! Thanks!
I'm not sure yet. For previous family pictures, I've just pulled together stuff we already own, trying to coordinate colors.
I'm holding out until DD can sit up on her own. I know I can get cuter shots of the two kids when she can do that. Hopefully she'll have it nailed by around Thanksgiving!
