I'm in my 37th week and my husband and I have decided to change from a hospital birth with a physician to a home birth with a midwife. It's a bit stressful being this close to the end, but I know it will all work out. I'm already much happier with this decision than I have been with my physician the whole pregnancy. Wish me luck in finding a midwife we like quickly!
Re: Big change in birth plan
Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!
Congrats and good luck. If you get nervous watch Orgasmic Birth, you can get that on Netflix or from their website you can stream it online for a small charge. Also, reade Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. The first half are birth stories and they are like bedtime stories to me. Very calming for the nerves.
The midwifery practice I am using has some online resources, I'd recommend "Postures & Positions for Late Pregnancy."

I can't wait to read your birth story if you post it here. Congrats again!
