I still have not received my registry completion coupon from Target. There are a few items I still need to pick up and Target is much more convenient than heading to BRU. Does anyone know if Target has completion coupons at customer service like BRU does? I hate not to get the discount, but I really can't wait much longer for the coupon.
Re: Target Registry Completion
Ugh, Target's registry has been a pain in the butt for us. We put my due date as September 1st so that I could get things in advance. When we hadn't gotten our coupon by the 1st DH called. They said they'd resend it. A week later we still hadn't gotten it so DH called again. They said that it didn't get sent because our registry was private so they made it public and said we'd get it within a month. We still haven't gotten ours. I'm thinking if we don't get it by Monday, we'll have to call again.
They don't have them at customer service since it comes from corporate. It's very annoying. I love Target, but am not impressed with their registry.
Have not gotten ours either
UPDATE: Just called them. Their number is 1800-888-9333. The problem for me is I opted out from promotional mailings and that is why I didn't get it. Now that the due date that I set has passed I have to jump through some hoops to get it. What a pain!

I just called. They told me it was sent out on August 27 and I should be getting it "any time now". What??? That was almost 6 weeks ago! He then said he could send me another one, but it will take up to 14 days to get it...I'm due in 15 days, lol. I asked about them emailing it or did they have them available in the store like BRU and he said no and they could only mail me another one. Gee, thanks for nothing. I told him it looked like I'd be heading to BRU to pick up the rest of the items I needed since they provide the coupons in the store.
I also sent an email through their website, so we'll see if I get any type of response there.
So they responded to my email - here it is:
Thanks for contacting Target.
As a Target Baby registrant, you'll receive a booklet via mail about four weeks before your event date. Inside, you'll find two coupons. These can be used for any remaining items from your registry. Each coupon offers you 10 percent off. One can be used for a full day's shopping at any Target store, and the other can be used online at www.target.com. These coupons expire 90 days after your event date. This booklet is sent to guests who selected to receive special offers and promotional information from Target when registering. If you didn't do this, please call us at (800) 888-9333, 7 a.m. ? midnight (CT). We're here to help! Thanks for registering with us. I hope you enjoy everything you receive from Target.
I called the number to make sure I hadn't opted out of offers (but was pretty sure that wasn't the case). They verified that I hadn't opted out and told me I should have received the coupons. He then asked if I was planning to shop online or in the store. I mentioned again that since I was due in 2 weeks, I had planned to shop in the store as I didn't want to wait for items to be shipped. It sounded like he was going to give me a discount code I could use online if that was how I planned to shop. He then told me that I could go into the store and explain my situation to them at customer service and have them call Customer Relations to obtain a completion discount code for my purchase...so apparently they DO have a way to do it without you having your coupon, they just don't make it very easy or well known.
I'll be making sure everything I still need is added to my registry and heading to Target this weekend to pick it all up...hopefully this last guy I spoke with really knows what he was walking about.
