4th Birthday/Football Watching Menu

So, we're having the family over to watch the game and celebrate Carter's birthday. I've been toying with the menu of kid-friendly, football-watching, grazing type foods. Thoughts?

 Cocktails:

?         Bloody Mary Bar

?         Wine

?         Beer

?         Soda

Juice

Appetizers:

?         Soft Pretzels & Hatch Chili Queso Dip

?        Spiced Popcorn (or maybe just plain? Or both?)

?        Veggies & Ranch Dip

?        Pigs in a Blanket

Main:

?         Sliders

?         Chick-fil-A Nuggets with Honey-Mustard Sauce

?         Mini Mac & Cheese Cups

?         Sweet Potato Fries (Store-bought)

Dessert:

?        Cherry Chocolate Chip Cupcakes

?        Apples & Creamy Caramel Dip

?        Triple?Chocolate Sprinkle Birthday Cookies

  • Looks and sounds yummy!! First thought though- apples and carmel sauce sound really messy and I wouldn't want to serve that in my house, lol!

Another "main" that would be fun is that jiffy and hot dog recipe that has been floating around pinterest... makes little corn dogs. I have been meaning to try it for a while :)

The caramel dip is a mix of cream cheese, brown sugar, and toffee bits, so it's like a dip/thick pudding more than caramel. Believe me, if it were straight caramel, I'd feel the same way.
