Hi! Hopeful future foster mom :)

Hi! I wanted to introduce myself and hopeful get to know you guys. My husband and I are going through IMPACT training to become foster parents. We have been married for five years and ttc for two. Recently I really felt led to put the ttc on hold and focus on foster care. We have told our CW that we are definitely open to adoption if there is TPR but also understand and feel strongly that we want to help birth parents with reconciliation. We are using a private agency. I had previously posted on this board over a year ago but didn't stay long as we weren't quite ready yet. I know this board is primarily for adoption but hope that I join :). I have been lurking a little bit and know there are a couple other foster mommies on this board as well. I am probably going to have LOTS of questions and hopefully will be able to cry/laugh/ scream with you guys too.

    Welcome! We have a few foster mommies on this board, so you should be in good company.

    We were licensed almost exactly 3 years ago and have 3 beautiful children to show for it :)

    Thank you! We are going to start out with one. However, we have two spare bedrooms so they told us they might go ahead and license us for two just in case.
