So LO turned 4 months yesterday and last night was by far the worst its been. LO went back to his normal sleep schedule but last night he got up every single hour for feedings. And has been a very light sleeper getting up very easily. He has been shrieking when he gets up and this is not normal for him. He's been extra grouchy and no longer smiley. This has been going on yesterday and today. I know it will pass but just another phase we are going through...
on another note and on top of this...
My inlaws get here tomorrow and will be staying with us...joy!
Re: Thought I was out of the woods...
Gosh, I am sorry to hear that. I guess we are all going through a rough time with growth spurts, WW, 4 mo wakeful.
It can really wear you out! Hang in there and take it one day at a time. Our LOs are getting older and this will pass.
yuck! My MIL also enjoys drinking a bit much - it's 5 o'clock somewhere, right? Good thing they will be gone soon, will your DH be at home while they are there?
Ughh, I know exactly what you mean. My in-laws are the same. I hate that DD reeks of cigarettes & booze after they hold her. It's so gross. We thought we'd only have to put up with it a few times a year, but SUPRISE, they've decided to move across the country to live near us : (
Don't hesitate to make them wash their hands after smoking. We also just go to bed really early when they are visiting, it makes the time go by faster : )
My H will be home and taking a few days off while his parents are here. His parents are coming for vacation and to meet LO..so they will be on vacation mode drinking etc.. (They are not here to help.. )
Oh that's great news! I hope he keeps it up.
Also good luck with your ILs. Are they definitely staying a week? I remember you saying they might be staying longer? I hope it's only a week!
Oh good!
Good luck with the ILs! I absolutely HATE having an audience when DD has her cranky pants on-- make sure you give yourself lots of "nursing" passes to leave the room if they get on your nerves (even if your DS is not hungry
...
I hope his return to STTN continues... hugs!
