30 days since...(TMI?)

30 days since DC... waiting for AF. 

Confession: DH and I waited til we were married to have sex, and once we were married we started trying for a child. So after our DR said to TTA for 2 cycles we tried condoms. Hated it. So a week ago I figured I would have ovulated already, it was past my usual ovulation days (between 14-20 days) so in the middle when the sex seemed no good we decided to forget the condom because, well, it sucked. I'm not freaking out too much but at the same time I am nervous that if I ovulated late and somehow caught that one day of O and I would miscarriage again if my body were not ready yet. I never really had a cycle longer than 34 days.

Question: Those of you who had a D&C, did your cycle go back to regular? Did it take a while? 

 Just speaking out loud.

    I got my AF about 6 weeks after.... My DR did say I should wait for one cycle but he did say if I got pregnant again right away that doesn't mean you will have another MC. He said the majority of people who get pregnant right away will have a normal pregnancy. Often times my DR said that they recommend people wait because emotionally they need to process it. Unless you had other health issues that would be of concern I wouldn't worry too much. But you can always call your DR to ease any concerns :)

    I have not received my AF yet, but my doctor also recommend waiting one month. I asked him if we got pregnant before if there was any risk to the baby and he said no. Your body will only get pregnant if it is ready to.

    When I had my dc years ago, I got af about 4 weeks later. Then I o'd three weeks after that. A week later than my normal cycles. DD was born 9 months later :
    BFP#1 due 3/5/2007 missed m/c at 10w, d&c 8/2006 BFP#2 DD 6/2007 BFP#3 DS 5/2009 BFP#4 due 4/8/12 m/c at 9w3d, after weeks of waiting for hcg to go down finally prescribed misoprosotol BFP#5 DUE 8/15/13 Lilypie Pregnancy tickers

    are you temping? it really helped me when I saw the temp drop. You can start now, your temps are probably high, and see if they stay up or drop.
